The Gencon headcollar will NOT pull up into your dogs eyes. It consists of two loops, one over the nose, the other containing the lead or ring(s) round the neck. When the dog pulls it tightens and restricts the whole head and the Dog backs off from the restriction, in other words STOPS PULLING. The action is from the side of the head and very gentle, it does not pull the dogs head round. Only gentle pressure is needed to control the dog. DO NOT JERK! The Gencon's are made for walking your dog on the LEFT. However, if you email, and request it we can make one for walking your dog on the right. To find out the right size: Place a piece of tape on your dogs nose, take it round the muzzle, cross it under the chin, then take it round the back of the head (all in one piece) add approximately 3 inches 7.5cm to allow for ease of taking off and putting on . The small size is 27 inches (69cm) The medium size is 31 inches (79cm) The large size is 35 inches (89cm) The extra large size is 39 inches (99cm)
